Almost There!

Well, folks… we’re finally getting the hell off Sale Street.

And if we’re being completely honest?

We’re pretty damn happy about it.

Sale Street has been a chapter for us. It’s where a lot of tattoos were made, a lot of friendships started, a lot of questionable decisions were made, and where we packed entirely too many tattoo artists, clients, chairs, machines and personalities into a space that was never quite big enough for all of us.

But eventually, you either stay comfortable or you grow.

And we decided it was time to grow.

Enter: Louisiana Avenue.

Our new home is bigger, brighter, and—most importantly—built around the way we actually work.

We’ve got private artist rooms, more space to spread out, huge floor-to-ceiling windows, natural light, and enough room that you shouldn't have to worry about accidentally elbowing a stranger while trying to get tattooed.

And then there’s the blue door.

Because apparently we needed a blue door.

But this move isn't just about getting into a bigger building.

We're building something different.

Every artist has been given the freedom to make their own room their own. Which means walking through the new shop is a little like wandering through several completely different worlds that somehow ended up under one roof.

We've got dark academia, books, anime, Southern Gothic, jewel tones, greenery, old wood, and plenty of other weird shit that we'll be showing off as everything comes together.

And somewhere in the middle of all that, we're also changing our name.

BleuSon Studio is becoming…

BleuSon’s Lowlife Ink

Same people. Same tattooing. Same family. Same weird collection of personalities.

Just a new name that feels a hell of a lot more like us.

"Lowlife" isn't about being bad at what we do.

It's about the people who don't necessarily fit neatly into somebody else's little box. The misfits. The weirdos. The artists. The people who would rather make their own rules than follow somebody else's.

Basically… our kind of people.

And after years of tattooing in this area, we've learned that the best part of having a shop isn't the walls.

It's the people who walk through the door.

It's the clients who come back for their second tattoo, then their fifth, then eventually bring their kids.

It's the artists who grow up around tattooing and decide to make it their own.

It's the people who trust us with the tattoos they've been thinking about for ten years.

It's the regulars, the first-timers, the walk-ins, the collectors, the weirdos, the river rats, the locals and everybody in between.

That's the part we're taking with us.

So, goodbye Sale Street.

You were cramped.

You were chaotic.

You gave us some stories we're probably better off not putting on the internet.

But you were also part of our history.

And now we're ready for the next chapter.

Louisiana Avenue, here we come.

We're still putting the finishing touches on everything, so we're going to be sharing the new rooms, the new shop, the artists, the work, and all the other nonsense that comes along with building this thing as we go.

So if you've been following us for a while, thank you.

If you found us recently, welcome to the shitshow.

And if you've been waiting for us to finally get the hell off Sale Street…

Your wish has been granted.

Welcome to BleuSon’s Lowlife Ink.

Same degenerates. New address.
