ABOUT US
A better class of lowlife.
Bleu Son’s Lowlife Ink started with a love for tattooing and grew from there. We’re a family-owned, multigenerational shop, with family working alongside artists and piercers who, over the years, have become family too. It’s a business, sure, but it’s also where we spend our days, make art, tell stories, give each other hell, and get to know the people who come through the door.
We’re South Louisiana through and through, with a mix of Cajun and Japanese influence worked into the character of the shop. That doesn’t mean every artist here does the same kind of work. Far from it. Our artists work in hyper-realism, fine line, traditional, Japanese, black and grey, and plenty in between. Everybody brings something different to the table.
We also want you to know the person doing your tattoo, not just pick something off a wall and get shuffled through a chair. A tattoo is personal, and the relationship with your artist matters. We want people to feel comfortable here, talk through what they want, trust the person working with them, and walk out with a piece that feels like it belongs to them.
